Goal Of Life
All life has one ultimate goal: to reproduce.
They struggle to survive, but in the end, all life puts reproduction above all other things – sacrificing themselves for their offspring, if necessary.
Consider the journey of the salmon; a bear defending her cubs; a bird starving itself to keep her eggs warm; bull elk fighting to the death for the right to mate. All life prioritizes reproduction.
It lives, so that it can make more like itself. This is true of every single living organism in the universe, as far as we know.
So how can it not be true of the One who created all of those things?
The one thing all religions agree on, everywhere, is that God is God, and nothing can ever be like Him. To even discuss it is blasphemy; to even consider it is sacrilege. Man cannot become God... so they say.
But if there is a Creator, how can His ultimate goal be anything but reproducing after His kind? How can His purpose be anything but CREATING more beings like Him?
Today, every Christian believes that God is their Father. But strangely, they believe that they can never be like Him! That no man can ever truly be like God in any way.
If that makes sense to you, you probably will find nothing of value on this website. Because it doesn’t make sense to me. How can you be someone’s child, and not have the potential to grow up exactly like them in every way?
Romans 1:20 (NKJV) For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,
God MEANT for us to look at the world He created, and to understand His invisible attributes from them!
Christians throughout the world believe God created man in His image, and is the Creator of all life. So why do they not believe that God is like the very life He created?
Why do none of them truly believe that God’s goal is to reproduce Himself? Why can’t they believe that God’s goal is for us to one day be like Him in every way?
1 John 3:1-2 (NKJV) Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! ...Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, WE SHALL BE LIKE HIM, for we shall see Him as He is.
