Who Are YOU To Bind God To His Word?

Don’t listen to people when they say things like, “Who are you; a PUNY man, to bind God to His word or demand that He act a certain way? After all He is so much greater than us, we just can’t understand His great, mysterious purpose.”
This, and every argument that sounds like this, is just so much mindless nonsense!
Of course man does not bind God to anything!
But God does act in harmony with His Laws, because they represent His nature; He must act according to His own nature.
God has BOUND Himself to perform according to His promises, or be a Liar!—again, because His promises represent his will.
Therefore, because God has revealed both His nature and His will to us, we can, and certainly should, know His will!
1 Corinthians 2:9-10, “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.”
1 Corinthians 2:16, “For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.”
Through the Bible, and the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit, we absolutely can know what God’s will is!
If you do not know what God’s will is it is because you do not really know God!
If you do not know God well enough to know His will, it is because you have not spent enough time with Him, in FASTING and Bible STUDY and PRAYER!
So your ignorance of God’s will is your fault!
But, fortunately, ignorance is not the Unpardonable Sin!
Brethren, God has absolutely BOUND Himself to DO what HE has promised He would DO—IF and WHEN you meet His conditions—and He CANNOT get out of it, even if he wanted to.
He doesn’t want to get out of it—or He would NEVER have suggested it in the first place!
God is not some INDECISIVE, VACILLATING, FICKLE human being!
You are NOT binding God to ANYTHING; God has GLADLY and HAPPILY bound Himself to keep His Word.
Your part is to do the WORK he told you to do!
Do you know what that work is?
Don’t speak too soon, or assume you already know, because what you have heard may not be what God has said!
People came to Jesus in John 6:28-29, and said, “…What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.”
God is not the problem here.
Your minister and your church and you are the problem!
YOU and your church have cut YOURSELVES off from God, by your compromises with sin, and God is not answering your prayers because of it!
You can argue this obvious fact all you want. I know many of you will, and are, but IF you want God to hear and answer your prayers, you MUST accept the truth and change.
There is no other answer!
Isaiah 59:1-2, “Behold, the LORD’S hand is NOT shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But YOUR INIQUITIES have separated between you and your God, and YOUR SINS have hid his face from you, THAT he WILL NOT HEAR.”
The Churches of God have lost contact with the Holy Spirit of God today, and their prayers are no longer being answered, because the people of God are willing to believe their church, even when it contradicts the Bible and they are no longer willing to tolerate God’s correction in their lives!
In Acts 5:32, we read that God gives His Holy Spirit “to them that OBEY Him.”
No one who continues to compromise with God’s Law will have the POWER OF GOD working within them, through prayer!
Would you like to change this situation in your life and begin to get some Startling Attention in heaven?
Then stop believing that your church is doing the works of God, when they don’t believe the promises of Jesus Christ and regularly compromise with God’s Laws.
When Jesus is not keeping His promises to His Church, it isn’t because He has changed; it is because His Church no longer believes Him.
Historically, when His Church no longer believes Him, they twist the truth, instead of twisting their lives back into line with the truth!
If God isn’t answering your prayers like you want Him to, stop blaming God!
It’s not His fault, it’s your Fault!
Stop siding with men against Him!
Exodus 23:2, “Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:”
Job 31:34, “Did I fear a great multitude, or did the contempt of families terrify me, that I kept silence, and went not out of the door?”
Stop looking at everyone else in your church and saying “God isn’t answering their prayers, either, so this must be normal—I must be OK!
If you continue in this attitude, God will NEVER answer you!!
Stop resisting the correction of God’s Holy Spirit, on any level, and begin to SEEK God’s correction instead!
Then a whole new world will open up before you!
